We have had a great day in Seattle with Maureen and Ron. After a morning walk up and down the trails in Interlaken Park, we had a breakfast that included Grandma Smith's sour cream kuchen. Yum!
Later they drove us to the Seattle Locks where we could watch the movement of boats through the locks and walk the gardens nearby. We had a delicious lunch at Chinook's at the Fisherman's Terminal. We drove to Kerry Park in Queen Anne where we had a wonderful view of the Seattle downtown skyline and Puget Sound.
We have just returned from having dinner with Rob Duerr and his delightful children, Eva and Chas at Pizzuto's Italian Cafe.
We are closing the day back at Maureen's with her homemade apple pie!
A wonderful day filled with good people and good food!
